Mrs. Bennett

November 14, 2011: Today I'm thankful for the one and only Mrs. Bennett, my first grade teacher!

Her influence made me want to become a teacher. Her kind spirit, the way she just absolutely loves all of her students like her own kids, and her way of making each and everything she taught so interesting. I am so glad I've kept in touch with her over the years! She is still teaching 1st grade at the school where I went. Now, I've followed in her footsteps and in my 3rd year of teaching 1st grade. I only hope I can live up to her influence and be the kind of teacher she was and still is. Love you, Mrs. Bennett!
