My 32-35 week bump updates!

These last few weeks have been rough but I've made it through so far. I'm going to post pictures but not do the whole run down post for each of these weeks. Maybe a few little notes here and there but I have a belly book journal that I've been trying to keep up with so without further ado...

32 weeks:
Momma's feet and ankles have been swelling. My bed is the recliner. It was a rough week emotionally and physically.  My second momma at school, Ms. Sindy, brought me flowers one afternoon when I was feeling really down in the dumps and my wonderful sectary friend, Christy, gave me a foot rub at my planning to help with my poor feet! I have the sweetest people to work with!

33 weeks:
The swelling continues. Have had mild contractions and more braxton hicks contractions this week. Mommy has 3 more baby showers this week and then we can work more on your nursery!
Momma went to the doc this week and had to do a 24 hour urine collection to test for protein incase I'm developing preeclampsia.

34 weeks:
Mommy has had all of her baby showers (5 of them!! EEKKK! We are so very blessed!) We had a baby shower at our dear friend, Amy Szeliga's house. It was so lovely and wonderful! We got lots of cute outfits, books and necessities for you. We had a baby shower thrown by my wonderful team of teachers at school and it was just wonderful! :)
We are excited about setting up your nursery. Grammy, Papa J, Uncle Jacob and Hannah came down and stayed with us that weekend for your last baby shower thrown at Aunt Kenzi's house. Gi Gi, Aunt Kenzi, Grandma Binion and Aunt Carolyn bought us your crib! I was so surprised, I cried! Your "aunties" Heather, Emily, Nicole and Whitney went in together and bought us your pack and play! We got lots of wonderful things for you, my sweet Olivia. Aunt Susan, Uncle Rod, Andy and Jana also came down and we got to go out to eat at MOTO with everyone! It was such a treat! Momma's feet and ankles are still swelling and the days are getting tougher and tougher.

35 weeks:

We went to the doctor this week. Momma barely passed her urine collection. With that being said, Doc put us on modified bed rest until you arrive. My last day of teaching Kindergarten was Friday May 1st. Momma's feet and ankles have been doing so much better now that I'm able to rest and relax. I get to do small things around the house but I mostly do things from the recliner with my feet propped up. Momma isn't allowed to go to the grocery store, malls, shops, school, etc. Your daddy has been so wonderful! Going to the store, cleaning up the kitchen, making meals. He is definitely a keeper! We had another ultrasound at your doc appt. Your sweet face in the 4d ultrasound took my breath away! I can't wait to hold you in my arms! You are also breech and a big girl (head and body) so at my 36 week appt, Doctor Redden will do another ultrasound to see if you've flipped and then decide what to do from there: if you've flipped we could still possibly have a regular birth but if you haven't, doc wants to schedule a c-section so you don't come breech. God has given me a peace about both options. I am grateful for that!

Miss Olivia Michelle Clark! We can't wait to meet you!

My 31 Week Bump

How far along: 31 weeks-9 weeks or LESS!!!!
Baby's size: Pineapple, length approx. 15.2-16.7 inches. Weighs anywhere between 2.5-3.8 pounds! (But I think she weights much more) *According to my doctor's appt. last week, Olivia is measuring 2 almost 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I will get another ultrasound at the end of April to actually see how far I am.
Total weight gain: According to my doc's scales, I've only gained 12 pounds total. I'm shocked!
Maternity clothes: YES!
Stretch marks:  Even after using the concentrated cream palmers cocoa butter morning and night, I'm getting a few on my side and on my lower belly. She is just a growing machine but so worth it!
Sleep:  DOUBLE UGH! In the recliner until further notice. Oh how I miss sleeping in my bed with my hubby! Getting up at least twice in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
Best moment of this week: Putting some of your clothes away in your dresser and Easter weekend with the family!
Miss anything: sleeping comfortably, breathing normally, having my feet/ankles/hands not swell. Wearing my wedding rings :(
Movement: She is definitely a mover! Her movements can still be jabs sometimes but I often feel her rolling around, too. I love seeing you make my belly move! *About the same but as she gets bigger, her jabs are stronger but she love to jut her little bottom towards the top of my belly and the pressure is so strong it hurts sometimes.
Food cravings: Still sweets but trying to curb them with fruit!
Anything making you queasy or sick:  not this week.
Have you started to show yet: definitely. And strangers are making comments...
Gender:  Our little Miss Olivia Michelle will be her daddy's girl and her momma's world!
Labor signs: no but I believe I've had some Braxton hicks contractions.
Belly button in or out: in
Wedding rings on or off: Off although I bought a $15 pretty target stand in ring for now.
Happy or moody most of the time: a little of both but mostly happy!
Looking forward to:  Your next doctor's appt on Monday afternoon, upcoming baby showers, seeing mom, dad, Jacob, Hannah, Aunt Susan, Uncle Rod, Andy and Jana when they come in at the end of the month for the baby shower! Getting your room more organized and doing some crafts for you and your room!

A letter to my angel from Mommy:

Baby Olivia Michelle,
Mommy is just so overwhelmed by your growth! I am so in love with you already and I just can't wait to meet you. I know you don't mean to hurt mommy when you jab and press your little body so hard up against my belly. You just want out and to be as close as you can to me! Daddy loves to give you kisses on my belly and talk to you in his silly voices! Mommy was watching the Bible series on Netflix this Easter weekend and when they crucified Jesus on the cross, I sobbed and sobbed. You probably were thinking, "Why is my momma so sad and crying?" It's because Jesus died for our sins, baby girl! I can't wait to teach you all about Jesus and how He loves us so much that he died for our sins! I pray for you each night and thank God for giving us you! (That's your favorite bed time book right now, "God Gave Us You.") Mommy loves you so much, princess!

Prayer and Mommy's verse this week:
God,
Help me in this time of discomfort. Some days are just so difficult but I praise you for blessing me with this little one growing inside of me. I thank you so much for sending your Son to die on the cross for our sins and raising Him from the tomb so that we may have everlasting life this Easter season. I will trust in you during the good days and in the difficult days. Be with me always!

Amen
Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

It was jam packed with fun and events, too! I had the most beautiful baby shower thrown by my mom, sister-in-law, best childhood friends, church family and family! It perfectly shabby chic! I'll write a whole other post just about the shower. We got to go out to eat Saturday night with my dad's side of the family for birthday celebrations at Fazio's Italian Restaurant! It was amazing! We had dinner at Graziano's Pizza place with my family and cousin and uncle! The rest of spring break when we got back was all about unpacking the things that would fit in our SUV for Olivia, running errands, seeing friends, celebrating my hubby's 30th birthday with friends and family!
