Friday's Recipes

Today's recipe is coming from my new cookbook : "What's New, Cupcake?"
While at home, my and my brother's girlfriend, Ashley decided to make a recipe from this book! We had loads of fun! We decided to make these:

What you need:
cake mix-bake in cupcake form and follow the recipe on the box
M&M's
White Icing-2 cans
Yellow food coloring
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Foil cupcake wrappers
Sandwich bags or decorator bags.

What to do:
Bake cupcakes as normal and let cool on cooling rack. Sort the M&M's by color.
Mix icing with a few drops of yellow food coloring and mix in a teaspoon of cocoa powder. You will need to play around with it to get the shade that you want for the crust.
Ice the middle of the tops of the cupcakes. Leave a little bit of the edge un-iced.
Put the M&M's on top. Using the sandwich bags or decorator bags, ice in a lattice form and then ice around the edge like the crust!

ENJOY!

Happy 4th of July Weekend! Yay for July! My b-day is in 6 days now!!!
