SPRING BREAK is in sight

WOW, Just saw that I'm one more post away from my 200th post and 9 people away from having 100 followers!! That's exciting!

This week has been a long week! We had a great weekend last weekend and celebrated my hubs 27th birthday!

I've been very good about (for the most part) of my phase 1 on the south beach. I've lost 11 pounds since January 1st and am so proud of myself! I still have a ways to go until I get back down to my goal weight but I will get there and am determined to get there!  I think I'm actually beating my hubby in our challenge that whoever loses 20 pounds first wins the others spending money for the month!

The kids have a half day today and I have a full day. Then it is SPRING BREAK! I can't wait for this much needed break. The kids definitely need a break as well! Don't get me wrong, I love my job and am made to be a teacher, but we all need breaks every once in a while! Hubby and I are kicking off spring break by going on a long overdue date! We haven't been on a date in such a long time (probably our anniversary last summer). I have a gift card left over from Christmas to the Macaroni Grill and he is taking me to go see THE HUNGER GAMES! I begged and he didn't want to go see it (I have no idea why not!) but he's taking me because he's the best hubby ever!

*Sorry this is a random post but I felt like I needed to update real quick and I will get back on track soon! I also want to start back up my recipe posts on Fridays with a link up! Be looking to share some favorite recipes soon!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Spring break, huh? That's EXCITING! I had my spring break mid-March.

What grade do you teach again??? I forgot. I teach 6th, but I'm transferring to the elementary school (hopefully 2nd or 3rd).
