My 15 week bump

How far along: 15 weeks 4 days
Total weight gain: by doc's scales, I've gained 2 pounds. By my scales, I'm still not back up to what I weighed when I found out I was pregnant. I had lost 5 pounds in the first trimester.
Maternity clothes: YES! I feel like since I'm short and have a short torso, I have "popped" earlier than some people. I LOVE maternity pants/leggings/etc.
Stretch marks: no.
Sleep: good/bad. All depends. Derek is calling my side of the bed, my nest. I had a pillow propped up behind me for my back and my body pillow in front of me. I had bad heartburn last night so I slept with two pillows behind my head. I need to get another thing of tums to keep on my bedside table.
Best moment of this week:  Hearing baby's heart beat again at my doctor's appointment!
Miss anything:  not really...I do miss eating salad/veggies/chicken. It's hard to come up with something that sounds good to me.
Movement: no but I've felt some tightness. I don't know what I should be feeling hah!
Food cravings: not really but I have had some crazy food aversions.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  nope.
Have you started to show yet: oh yes!
Gender:  no news yet
Labor signs: -
Belly button in or out: in
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: a little of both.
Looking forward to: Christmas with our families! Then our big ultrasound on January 7th!
Baby's size: Orange!

Prayer for Baby:

Dear little baby,

Your mommy and daddy love you so much. We thank God for you everyday! We can't wait to find out if you are a little prince or princess! I am anxious to be able to feel you move inside of me. I pray that you know that you are never alone and God is always by your side.

Love,
Your Mommy

Dear God,

Thank you so much for allowing me to carry this precious miracle inside of me. This Christmas season has really made me think of Mary and her journey to becoming Your Son's mother. I pray that I can be the best mother and christian example for this sweet blessing inside of me. Please, be with our family during this Christmas season as my father-in-law is recovering from his stem cell transplant. Be with him and give him strength!
Amen
