How far along: 31 weeks-9 weeks or LESS!!!!
Baby's size: Pineapple, length approx. 15.2-16.7 inches. Weighs anywhere between 2.5-3.8 pounds! (But I think she weights much more) *According to my doctor's appt. last week, Olivia is measuring 2 almost 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I will get another ultrasound at the end of April to actually see how far I am.
Total weight gain: According to my doc's scales, I've only gained 12 pounds total. I'm shocked!
Maternity clothes: YES!
Stretch marks: Even after using the concentrated cream palmers cocoa butter morning and night, I'm getting a few on my side and on my lower belly. She is just a growing machine but so worth it!
Sleep: DOUBLE UGH! In the recliner until further notice. Oh how I miss sleeping in my bed with my hubby! Getting up at least twice in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
Best moment of this week: Putting some of your clothes away in your dresser and Easter weekend with the family!
Miss anything: sleeping comfortably, breathing normally, having my feet/ankles/hands not swell. Wearing my wedding rings :(
Movement: She is definitely a mover! Her movements can still be jabs sometimes but I often feel her rolling around, too. I love seeing you make my belly move! *About the same but as she gets bigger, her jabs are stronger but she love to jut her little bottom towards the top of my belly and the pressure is so strong it hurts sometimes.
Food cravings: Still sweets but trying to curb them with fruit!
Anything making you queasy or sick: not this week.
Have you started to show yet: definitely. And strangers are making comments...
Gender: Our little Miss Olivia Michelle will be her daddy's girl and her momma's world!
Labor signs: no but I believe I've had some Braxton hicks contractions.
Belly button in or out: in
Wedding rings on or off: Off although I bought a $15 pretty target stand in ring for now.
Happy or moody most of the time: a little of both but mostly happy!
Looking forward to: Your next doctor's appt on Monday afternoon, upcoming baby showers, seeing mom, dad, Jacob, Hannah, Aunt Susan, Uncle Rod, Andy and Jana when they come in at the end of the month for the baby shower! Getting your room more organized and doing some crafts for you and your room!
A letter to my angel from Mommy:
Baby Olivia Michelle,
Mommy is just so overwhelmed by your growth! I am so in love with you already and I just can't wait to meet you. I know you don't mean to hurt mommy when you jab and press your little body so hard up against my belly. You just want out and to be as close as you can to me! Daddy loves to give you kisses on my belly and talk to you in his silly voices! Mommy was watching the Bible series on Netflix this Easter weekend and when they crucified Jesus on the cross, I sobbed and sobbed. You probably were thinking, "Why is my momma so sad and crying?" It's because Jesus died for our sins, baby girl! I can't wait to teach you all about Jesus and how He loves us so much that he died for our sins! I pray for you each night and thank God for giving us you! (That's your favorite bed time book right now, "God Gave Us You.") Mommy loves you so much, princess!
Prayer and Mommy's verse this week:
God,
Help me in this time of discomfort. Some days are just so difficult but I praise you for blessing me with this little one growing inside of me. I thank you so much for sending your Son to die on the cross for our sins and raising Him from the tomb so that we may have everlasting life this Easter season. I will trust in you during the good days and in the difficult days. Be with me always!
